The Intensive

We’ll dive into the heart of your chosen monologue—whether it’s classical, contemporary, or self-written. Through dynamic exploration, you’ll break through creative barriers to find fresh interpretations and a stronger connection to your material. Everyone taking this intensive will have ample time to perform their pieces and discuss their work. Kelsey has taught numerous monologue classes and coached countless actors through their monologues for grad school auditions, theatre companies, Shakespeare, TV, and film. Her primary focus is to help actors get "out of their heads" and into their senses, fostering a deeper, more embodied connection to their material. Kelsey has guided many actors to remarkable successes in their artistic journeys, helping them unlock their full potential.

Each student will be required to bring a 1-1.5 minute monologue they would like to work on. This is perfect for the actor working on material for upcoming auditions!
