About

The Workshop

The Actor's Process is designed specifically to guide you into infusing honest, colorful, and creative choices into the world of your scenes. You’ll learn techniques to build stronger characters, using what’s on the page to help visibly paint the world around you. We'll cover raising the stakes in your storytelling, devising character arcs to improve your scene work, and curating a process that works for you when given little time to prepare.

Get a glimpse of Anthony's upcoming 6-week class by registering for this 3-hour workshop! Learn the how-tos and industry hacks for deciphering a script in a pinch, and make the most out of that 48-hour submission window.

About the Teacher

With Southern charm that'll knock your socks off, Anthony L. Williams is an actor, educator, and award-winning visionary director, writer, and producer. As the founder of Second Glance Productions, his short film, Absolutely Positive, racked up nominations for Best Short Film, Director, Actor, and Actress at the World Music & Independent Film Festival in Washington, DC in 2013. This earned him a personal invitation to the National HIV/AIDS Strategy Initiative at the Obama White House. His critically acclaimed feature film, Thicker Than Blood, garnered him awards for "Best Director in a Feature Film" and "Best Narrative Feature Film" in 2019.

As an actor, Anthony has had the pleasure of working alongside some of the greats including Jennifer Anniston, Fantasia Barrino, Jason Sedakis, Sophia Bush, Ed Helms, Nick Offerman, Sinbad, Tony Todd, Lisa Ling, and Jackee Harry. When he’s not managing his own production company, teaching and mentoring LGBTQ+ youth, or volunteering within his community, Anthony works to produce media content for networks such as HGTV, the History Channel, National Geographic, A&E, The Travel Channel, Food Network, Investigative Discovery, and more, combining the art and creativity of imagination with the reality and realms of education. No matter the storytelling medium, Anthony takes pride in collaborating to create memorable media that pushes boundaries with purpose and on purpose. And with every story he tells and performance he delivers, his mission is to ‘edutain’ and inspire viewers at first glance, while provoking deeper thought, conversation, and connection upon ‘second glance.’
