We're Moving

New office @ Montrose & Western

It seems like 2021 has been thing, after thing...after thing. Here's another thing: We're moving...again.

Four years ago I decided to look for a storefront that would be the forever home of The Forge and my other company, Compass Casting. I thought I'd invest all my money and be there for, well, a really, really long time. That didn't happen.

What did happen?

A very long story short: the building was deemed unsafe and I couldn't continue to keep my staff, our students, or anyone else there.

Where are you going?

Just around the corner from the old space. We're about to start construction on a brand new building (with no structural/plumbing issues) on Montrose and Western. We're staying close and we're not going all the way down to Cinespace - promise.

When will the space be open?

We are going to bite, scratch, and claw to get this space open in just three months. We'd love to be up and running by December of 2021. Wish us luck.

What do you need?

I've gotten this question a lot and I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Honestly, all I ask for is a little grace while we do all this. Although I am very excited to build a new space for us and for you, it's extremely stressful, expensive, and time consuming. If we don't answer emails as fast or we're not available by phone, please give us grace. We're working hard to get back up and running as quickly as possible.

Thank you so much for your patience. I didn't expect to scrap through 2020 with two small businesses to be slammed with this just 6 months into 2021 - on top of everything else - but I appreciate you all sticking beside us and having our backs. We are going to open a space that is so - damn - great and that you'll be excited to use.
