Service Description

In this Tier 2 technique class, students will be tasked with submitting a self-tape audition every week to receive feedback while class time will be utilized for on-your-feet work and callback audition work. Over the course of six weeks, students will gain the experience of tight turnaround auditions, auditioning for different genres of TV and film, detailed feedback on self-tapes, and picking their own material. This class is designed for actors to get as many audition reps as possible and take the feedback given in each class to improve their overall skills in both self-tape and in-person auditions for TV and film. Each week will have a short Q&A section where students can ask any and all questions. Who is Jack Seijo? Jack (he/they) is a film actor, Jeff nominated theatre actor, and teaching artist living in Chicago. They have had the pleasure of working in theatres like A Red Orchid Theatre, Redtwist Theatre, About Face Theatre and Strawdog Theatre Company. His TV credits include Chicago P.D. and two seasons of Chicago Med as Paramedic Jack. He will be appearing in the feature film, Albany Road, playing in theatres November of 2024. Among multiple indie short films, one of which was selected for the 2024 Reeling International Film Festival, he also stars in another feature film hitting the festival circuit.
