Ages 14-17. This class will provide students with the fundamentals of auditioning. Throughout the course, we will focus on the process of preparing both monologues and sides while also answering the question of “What monologue is the best fit for me?” This class will undoubtedly benefit young actors new to the industry and preparing for their first audition, along with seasoned actors looking to sharpen their craft. With each week, we will infuse our classes with engaging exercises, captivating discussions and interactive games. Get ready for a journey of self-discovery, growth, and lots of play! Who Is Lauren Abbott? Lauren Abbott is a casting professional located in Chicago, Illinois. She has casted dozens of projects including The Bear on FX, Paper Girls on Amazon and Chicago Fire on NBC. Before entering the casting world, she worked on Saturday Night Live in New York City for four seasons as a primary player, this entailed joke creation, costume decisions and sketch placement.
